These Wooden Peg Dolls are great for creating characters. See how we used these to make bunnies for imaginary play.
I primed the dolls with a coat of gesso first so the paint would adhere and withstand playtime by my girls. We painted them with acrylic paint and then let them dry.
We used paint pens and sharpies to draw eyes and other details.
We used a hot glue gun to add cardboard ears and whiskers, a pom pom tail, and a googly eye for a nose.
